Career coaching

Career coaching is an opportunity for you to sit down with a professional, qualified career coach and review your career direction.
You can expect your one-hour sessions to be tailored to your needs. You will be asked questions by your career coach in order to thoroughly understand your situation. You will then work with your career coach to analyse your situation using an objective, non-judgemental approach.
Career coaching can help you:
• Develop a meaningful career
• Consider how to use your strengths and a sense of purpose in your future
• Look at what’s holding you back when applying for jobs
• Gain feedback on your interview skills
• Learn how to improve your job applications.
You can expect to leave with a written list of the next steps you need to take, activities, research and exercises, together with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and confidence.
The coaching style uses a solution-focussed approach that is based on positive psychology and up to date career theories and knowledge of the Adelaide job scene.
